BNP Paribas Fortis offers 30-year loans for sustainable real estate projects

The bank BNP Paribas Fortis aims to assist low-income clients in their sustainable real estate projects by offering them 30-year mortgage loans.

"For households and individuals with modest incomes, it is difficult, if not impossible, to become homeowners of energy-efficient housing, which means they are limited to the rental market and/or subject to higher energy costs. That is why we have decided to offer a 30-year loan."

This option can be a solution for low-income clients (a couple with a net monthly income of 3,500 euros and an individual with a net monthly income of 2,200 euros) so that they can finance the acquisition of a sustainable and unique property or energy-saving renovations in their own and unique residence.

In 2022, at BNP Paribas Fortis, the average borrowed amount was 203,000 euros (+9% compared to 2021), with an average duration of 223 months (18.5 years) and an average monthly installment of 956 euros.

“I wanted to share some loan options that could really help your audience. In New Hampshire, the Hard Money Loan New Hampshire program supports quick acquisitions. Arkansas investors can benefit from the DSCR Loan Arkansas program, which evaluates cash flow rather than personal income. Utah offers the Hard Money Loan Utah for fast closings, and Mississippi investors may find the DSCR Loan Mississippi option ideal for scaling rental portfolios.”
